EZ-Box 20 Standard – Tape & Glue
Speed: Up to 20 boxes per minute
Minimum box size: 200 × 150 × 100 mm
Maximum box size: 600 × 400 × 450 mm
The EZ-Box 20 Standard is designed for general-purpose automatic case erecting and is available with either tape or glue sealing.
EZ-Box 20 Tall – Tape
Speed: Up to 20 boxes per minute
Minimum box size: 200 × 150 × 100 mm
Maximum box size: 600 × 380 × 600 mm
The Tall version accommodates higher carton formats while maintaining production speeds of up to 20 boxes per minute.
EZ-Box XL – Tape
Speed: Up to 15 boxes per minute
Minimum box size: 200 × 250 × 100 mm
Maximum box size: 620 × 500 × 600 mm
The EZ-Box XL is designed for larger carton formats, providing automatic case erecting for applications requiring increased box dimensions.
Advanced Control and Integration
Siemens PLC and 7-Inch Touchscreen HMI
The EZ-Box features an integrated electrical cabinet with HMI and utilities positioned on one side of the machine, providing convenient access for operators and maintenance personnel.
A Siemens S7-1200 PLC provides machine control and supports integration with wider packaging lines through Profinet or OPC-UA communication.
The control system can communicate with other packaging machinery and production-management systems, including SCADA and WMS platforms, helping manufacturers integrate the case erector into automated end-of-line packaging operations.
For the Glue version, glue diagnostics and pattern settings can be controlled directly from the HMI.
Motorised Carton Feeding
The EZ-Box incorporates a motorised carton feeding system designed to simplify carton blank loading and reduce operator intervention.
The foldable motorised magazine provides easy access for loading carton blanks and can accommodate up to 120 blanks. Optional end-of-box detection helps identify when the carton supply is running low.
The system also provides three minutes of manual box-size adjustment, helping reduce downtime when changing between carton formats.
Accurate Case Squaring
Accurate carton formation is essential for reliable downstream packing and sealing.
The EZ-Box uses a double-axis squaring system to help ensure cartons are correctly formed before they leave the machine. The system incorporates a pneumatic pick-up arm, block squaring paddle and positive flap folding to achieve consistent case formation.
This helps provide correctly squared cartons for subsequent filling and top-sealing processes.
Reliable Case Sealing
The EZ-Box can be configured for tape or glue sealing, depending on the application’s requirements.
Tape Sealing
Tape versions are equipped with the SIAT K Taping Unit, designed to provide smooth and consistent carton transfer and bottom sealing.
Glue Sealing
The Glue version uses an efficient gluing system with double nozzles and a spray gun. A Hot Melt Glue configuration is also available for applications requiring a secure and tamper-evident seal.
