AC-A Asset Packaging Machine – Automatic Cap Tightening (Discontinued)

The AC-A Automatic Cap Tightening Machine from Asset Packaging Machines is designed for continuous operation on slat-type conveyors, capable of tightening a wide range of threaded caps at rates of up to 60 units per minute.

Containers are fed via an in-line conveyor, with lids pre-placed manually upstream. A photoelectric sensor detects each container and triggers machine operation using an electronic or pneumatic timed control unit. The control unit allows quick adjustments and fine-tuning of cycles through its programmable timer, digital display, or pneumatic controls.

The dual timer control offers separate configurations for the chuck and jaws/gates, providing greater flexibility for higher-speed operations and challenging container components.

The AC-A Auto Bottle Capper comes complete with a conveyor or mounting frame, pneumatic container clamping, and aluminum V-Jaw clamping devices with non-marking friction faces. For glass containers, plastic slippers prevent scratching during operation.

Our range of 5 standard interchangeable clamping chuck sizes and 3 standard liner materials accommodates most capping applications. Specialized chucks are also available for closures such as droppers, tamper-evident caps, and more.

For trigger pack sprays, cream dispensers, mist pumps, and other closures not tightened from the top, the Asset Pumptite Unit is available as an optional bolt-on item.
