Nathan Wardell Nominated for 2026 APPMA Board Election

Nathan Wardell, Managing Director of Packserv, is seeking re-election to the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) Board in 2026.

Nathan has spent more than 30 years in the packaging machinery and manufacturing industry, with three generations of his family involved in the sector. Since establishing Packserv, he has seen the business grow from a small machinery rental operation into a national packaging machinery and technical services business supporting manufacturers across Australia and overseas.

Nathan joined the APPMA Board in 2024 and has continued to be involved in the wider industry, including his role as Chair of the APPEX 2027 Working Group.

For Nathan, being involved with APPMA is about more than representing Packserv. It is an opportunity to contribute to the industry as a whole and help address some of the challenges facing Australian manufacturers.

His focus includes stronger collaboration between manufacturers, industry associations, universities and research organisations, along with professional development and creating more opportunities for people entering the industry.

Nathan is also a strong supporter of Australian manufacturing and the role local businesses can play in developing practical, innovative solutions for manufacturers.

With the 2026 APPMA Board election now underway, Nathan is looking forward to continuing his involvement and contributing to the future direction of the industry.
