Automatic Induction Sealing Machine (INS-IF2.25-U)
The iFoiler Automatic Induction Sealer is a high-efficiency non-contact cap sealing machine. The machine uses electromagnetic energy to create tamper-evident and air-tight seals on containers.
The iFoiler features a highly intuitive touch screen interface and multiple language options. This equipment has an optional seal calibration system designed to monitor the sealing process. The iFoiler saves applications in its memory, and can easily retrieve them using parameters. The design of the iFoiler is compact and built for modularity, making it is easy to place within a fully automated production line.
Tool-less removal of the sealing coils from the generator is easy, minimising downtime and improving productivity. Find out more about the sealing coils for the induction sealer here.
Optional Extras
The Induction Sealer monitors the production line, detects any containers that need removal through both a bottle and cap detection system and a pneumatic reject device. To support quality control and reduce downtime, the following key components work together throughout the sealing process.
Bottle and Cap Detection System
To begin with, the advanced Bottle and Capping Detection system helps minimise the risk of shipping unsealed products. This system uses leading sensor technology to identify and remove bottles with one of the following three issues:
- Missing Foil: The inductive sensor detects the absence of an inner seal beneath the cap, ensuring every product is securely sealed.
- Loose or Crooked Cap: A laser-sensor measures cap height to ensure proper torque, identifying caps that may compromise the seal.
- Stalled Bottles: A photoelectric sensor, paired with an optical line speed encoder alerts operators to stalled bottles on the conveyor.
For added flexbility, operators can activate all three fault-detection features or customise the system by enabling only the required functionalities. Conveniently located switches behind the control panel manage the sensors, allowing for simple activation or deactivation.
Additionally, an optical encoder mounted onto the conveyor shaft detects stalled bottles by monitoring conveyor pulses. If a delay or stoppage occurs, the encoder signals the power board, triggering a power shutoff to prevent further issues.
In-Feed Bottle Stop with Pneumatic Reject Equipment
To further enhance quality assurance, the Pneumatic Reject Device complements the Bottle and Cap Detection System by actively removing faulty bottles from the conveyor. The equipment has two photoelectric sensors, an air-actuator “kicker”, and a reject tray for collecting defective bottles. As a result, any products with missing foils, crooked caps, or stalled bottle faults are efficiently removed from the production line before they reach the final stages of packaging
These optional extras deliver peace of mind, streamline operations, and maintain high-quality standards throughout your packaging production process.
